Make the most of your MNCREW membership by getting involved and meeting new people. All of MNCREW’s committees are busy and always looking for new members to bring fresh ideas, help carry out the committees' initiatives and have fun in our growing and vibrant organization. By participating on a committee you have a chance to meet more members in a smaller setting and share your talents with the group, as well as gaining additional networking resources.

The Winter Council Meeting was held in Phoenix on February 7th and 8th. Meghan Huber and I attended the Council Meeting as your delegates. At the meeting, we learned of the many resources CREW National has available to you as a member. Visit CREW National’s website at www.crewnetwork.org to obtain contact information on other members throughout the nation that are available for networking and providing resources in other markets, to locate job postings at the Career Center through Select Leader (recently chosen as the real estate industry’s leading job site), and to find chapter resources for various invaluable tools. CREW National is now 66 chapters strong with over 7,000 members!

Roseanne Hope has graciously agreed to chair the Strategic Sponsorship Taskforce which will implement and formulate a strategic and innovative plan for MNCREW's ongoing sponsorship opportunities, with a rollout of the plan scheduled for 2009. Kristi Broderick has agreed to chair the Best Practices Taskforce to put together information and define a process for disseminating the information regarding involvement in committees and board leadership positions within MNCREW. If you are interested in participating on either of these taskforces, please feel free to contact the taskforce chairs or me.

Your membership in MNCREW is only as valuable as you make it - take advantage of the unlimited resources and opportunities that are available to you. If there is anything MNCREW or I can do to help the process, please let me know.
